SIZE MATTERS, FIND THE RIGHT HEATER FOR YOUR ROOM HERE


As a general guide only, we recommend the following wattage for a typical room type, based on a 2.4 metre ceiling stud:

Small < 10 m2 A heater with under 1kW of power is recommended for small areas under 10 square metres
Medium 10 m2 to 18 m2 Heaters between 1kW and 2kW of power are recommended for medium areas up to 18 square metres
Large > 18 m2 A heater with over 2kW of power is recommended for large areas up to 28 square metres

Assuming the panel heater has been correctly sized for the application, the thermostat will ensure that the unit is energised on average 50% of the operating time. The estimated running costs have been calculated based on an electricity tariff of 28c per kW/hour. Please note heating capacity will vary for each home depending on the individual application. Factors such as tiles, bricks and stairwells may alter the performance of each unit.
